CRH is the only 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Puerto Rico dedicated exclusively to stopping the problem of blighted and abandoned properties, with a comprehensive intersectoral approach. Conducts collaborative planning activities and promotes the implementation of strategies to transform public nuisances into assets for recovery, community development and long-term resilience.

PUBLIC NUISANCE PROGRAM
SERVICES
Throughout its history, the CRH has positioned itself as the main providers of technical assistance, consulting and expertise on the issue of property abandonment in Puerto Rico. In order to continue multiplying community development pilot projects, and also to guarantee resources to continue offering its programs to the community, the CRH offers a variety of services to municipalities and non-profit entities:
MUNICIPAL SUPPORT
Create new forms of acquisition through ordinances, training, and implementation
COMMUNITY PLANNING
Conduct inventories of abandoned properties and facilitate the creation of a Space Rescue Plan
PLACEMAKING
Enable community development of properties previously identified for specific projects
LEGAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
CRH has launched a legal assistance program that provides support and representation to eligible individuals in cases related to inheritance, title, adverse possession, possession, and nuisance declarations. This program aims to empower communities, helping to prevent property abandonment and promoting property rights justice.
